Yohz Software is a division of Yohz Ventures Sdn Bhd (registration number 674722-W), a company incorporated in Malaysia. Yohz Ventures was founded in 2004 by Yeoh Ray Mond, an accountant by qualification but now works on software development as he found it to be a more exciting field. His previous employment included stints with Exact Software, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte.
In early 2004, Yohz Software released MiniSQLBackup, a backup tool for Microsoft SQL Server. MiniSQLBackup was purchased by Red Gate Software Ltd in 2005 and is now marketed under the name SQL Backup.
